#Sale, #TV on DVD, #DVD, #B1G1, #Boxsets, #The List, #Circular Ads, #Best Buy, #Target, #Circuit City, #Vol1 Issue1
So here it is, the first magnificent post of "The List", a weekly look at all cool and interesting deals from Best Buy, Circuit City, and Target (with much gratitude to Speedy1961 for posting these in the dvdtalk forums originally). I'm going to highlight deals that I think are worth a look, but be sure to hit the read more link after the post to check out the other deals he has posted - he puts a lot of time into posting these items and not everyone's taste is my own, so I'm sure there will be something left out here that you'll find there. Also, be advised that the prices listed on some items (such as new release movies) may not be deals per say, but rather just something that jumped out at me as being pretty cool nonetheless. So, without further ado...

"The List" - Coming Soon
Some quick back story : Each week the three biggest retailers in the states throw down the bargains with advertising circulars. Target, Best Buy, and Circuit City each release ads describing what new items are coming out and what old (and sometimes new) items are going on sale. Some of these items are worthless; some are real gems. Of course, it's all a matter of personal opinion, but since I'm writing this, and apparently you are reading this, for now we say that this blog is fact.
Okay, so you most likely knew about the ads (to some extent). What you may not have known was that each week (and usually 2 weeks in advance), a certain poster at both the cheapassgamer and dvdtalk forums takes each and every ad and lists it for all to peruse.
Well, this being a blog about interesting things on the internet, I find this ranks near the top. But far be it from me to steal this mans thunder - I simply want to point others in the right direction. So each week I'll list a few things I found interesting in the ad and then link to the posts at dvdtalk.com These posts will be called "The List", and hopefully this will make everyone more aware of how to better spend their money (or not spend it).
So look out for it... in fact, I'm going to go post the first one right now.

Site Update!
So I've been working pretty hard on making the site functional. I've added three major new things:
1) Tags - They are FULLY functioning and make clean urls as well - just try clicking on a tag and notice that the link is now post/article/id/post_title_here. I think this is REALLY cool, although it means little to the average user.
2) SOME CONTENT ADDED! - Mainly to test, but I've added three blogs that show sort of what I'll be writing about here - entertainment and media news (and deals!). I still need to add commenting and make the backend for blogging work better (right now pics are added VERY manually), but it's really coming together.
3) RSS FEED! - This is what I consider the coolest update yet. Simply click here (http://www.confusinglygood.com/feed.xml), and it will take you to the feed.xml file. If you use Firefox, this ought to make the broswer ask if you want to add the 'Live Bookmark'. Click yes, and there is now a live feed up top that will show links to all new articles on the site!
Well, that's it, now time to sleep. Work at 10 BAH.

Sonic SatAM to Arrive on DVD Soon!
I somehow missed this when it was posted last September on tvshowsondvd, but Sonic the Hedgehog will be released in it's entirety on March 27th, 2007. some special features include:
-Way Past Cool: A Conversation With Sonic Writer Ben Hurst
-The Fastest Thing Alive: A Conversation With Jaleel White ("Sonic")
-A Printable "Heads Or Tails" Pilot Script-
-Storyboard-to-Screen: "The Doomsday Project"
-Animated Early Storyboards For The Opening Title Sequence
-Deleted & Extended Sequences
-Original Concept Art
-Packaging Designed Using Sonic Fan Art
This is indeed great news, but I don't really care for the fan art packaging; it's not really, to me, what the show looks like. It needs to be much darker, and cooler. Deepdiscount.com has a very low price on this right now though, so click through after the break to snag yourself a copy.

TMNT to Receive Season Set Treatment
I've been buying TMNT stuff since I was very little. I was always way into turtle toys, blankets, toy chests.. anything. Which was why it was so great when the original cartoon was released on DVD. What wasn't so great, however, was the show was released in volumes instead of complete seasons. Granted, some seasons of TMNT lasted quite a while (and quality wise, the show really hasn't held up, save the nostalgia factor.)
B&N B1G1 Free TV on DVD
If the title of this post didn't make you click away already (sorry for the lame abbrev.), read on to discover how you can get some TV on DVD for... well, almost cheap.
