Witch Hunter Robin: A Review
I have always heard good things about Witch Hunter Robin. Reviews all say great things. And it seemed interesting: an anime about hunting witches? Sounds good. Alas, it is not good.
Some More Less Ranty Stuff
So I've been watching some cool anime lately. One of my favorites is Mushi-Shi. Mushi are supposed to be little creatures that are the closest to pure life as one can get, although they are invisible to most and come in all forms; water-like, animal and person like, even raindbow like. These mushi sometimes cause strange phenomena (and trouble for normal humans) by simply existing and doing what they normally do. It mainly follows a mushi master (mushi-shi) named Ginko that checks out the weird stuff mushi cause. It's really slow-paced and beautiful. If nothing else check out the awesome theme song, [url=http://somethingchewie.co.uk/ally-kerr-the-sore-feet-song/]"The Sore Feet Song" by Ally Kerr[url]. (Mushishi intro with song after the break).
WRV: FLCL
It's friday, another video, this week it's FLCL - a random awesome anime. Here's episode 1; I suggest picking this up on DVD. It's only 6 episodes but it's great.
Samarai 7 On the Cheap
Amazon is having a sale on anime, superheroes, and comic stuff on dvd. The most notable title is Samarai 7
for $44. Hit the source to see the rest of the sale, including some Bleach and Naruto, but it's not really that stellar in my opin.
Rightstuf.com - Geneon Remix Sale
Rightstuf.com is having a sale of some overstock Geneon titles - 10 for $50 or 25 for $100. This is similar to a sale they had a few months back, but it's still a decent sale, and if I had $50-$100 I'd be all over this.
Use code remix10 (10 for $50) or remix25 (25 for $100) at checkout.
Check after the break for some notable titles, or simply hit the source to start browsing.

Anime On the Cheap At RightStuf.com
Rightstuf.com, the international anime superstore, is having a pretty sweet deal on ADV anime right now. The sale is any 10 for $50 or 25 for $100. Most anime collectors know that a single disc of anime can easily run $25, so to get 10 discs for $50 is a pretty good deal. The only title I found of note was Evangelion Platinum; each disc would normally be about $27 (at rightstuf, anyway), but with this you can grab most of theml and then a few different titles for $50. Bestbuy i believe has Evangelion for $6.99 a disc, but even at that rate you pay more than $50 for the series. Click the source to find the complete list, and maybe post some comments about titles you think are worth picking up.
