Alright, not so much a retrospective in the sense that I'll have videos and anecdotal little tidbits to throw your way about the animated MTV show "Daria", but retrospective since I've been, for the past week or so, watching Daria nonstop and it's been fun to look back on the cartoon. This weeks Weakly Random Video is a Japanese commercial for a Nintendo DS game which is supposed to guess your mood by the tone of your voice when you speak into the NDS' microphone. And it's the weirdest thing I've seen in a long time. Catch it after the break.

Wild Hogs is, for some reason, the comedy hit of the summer - well, a third place hit, but top ten none-the-less. But I can tell you from first hand experience in a video store that it's a HIGHLY anticipated movie - I've had people asking for a release date for months now, and have heard many customers say they won't be renting Wild Hogs come this Tuesday - they'll be buying. And I simply couldn't get why until tonight when I sat down to watch it.

Alright so last week I sorta slacked off and never got around to posting the WRV, even though I had this waiting in the wings to be released upon you unsuspecting, confusingly-good readers.

So what is the Perry Bible Fellowship? Just random comics, drawn by a man named Nicholas Gurewitch. Why is it The Perry Bible Fellowship? from the FAQ:

Probably the same reason Madonna goes by the name "Madonna": It's cool because you know she's not a Madonna. The comic is definitely not a Perry Bible Fellowship.

The hardest part of writing this article is deciding on which comic to post as an illustration of what to expect. The comics are so varied, twisted, and just downright weird, that it's hard to explain. Some are on the 'naughty' side of humor, but it's one of those, "I shouldn't like this... but I do" sort of things. And those are the best.
