Okay so I'm on hiatus, but I thought I'd post this real quick cause there are some good deals this week (mostly on cheapo DVD's, but still). so a short break from the short break.

Also, I may just quit writing these up all together. Speedy (at cheapassgamer) does this each week, and should not only get all the credit, but simply does a good job. My intent was to pick out what I thought were the must haves of the lists, but maybe that's not necessary? I may just have weekly links to Speedy's lists. Finally a week with not much going on! I've been way to broke lately thanks to BB's sales last week on DVD's. I have reviewed the game ads and there isn't much there at all I think, but in case you're wondering what's coming out and for how much, here is the link. Of note, though, is that both Target and Circuit City have the Wii listed in their ads, so if you want one, now might be the time. Welcome to another edition of The List! For all one of you reading, I'm sorry I don't write these up sooner; I totally could but I've been trying hard to get the site in a state where I can show other people. But there is something YOU can do, and it's quite easy, to get the list as early as possible: head over to the dvdtalk forums and check out the posts by speedy1961 each week; he posts all three circular ads, usually two weeks in advance. So don't call me lazy; you have the power!
Alright onto The List for this week.

Each retailer is supposedly getting Wii's in this Sunday, so if you've been looking for one, now might be your chance. Another good reference is WiiSeeker (www.ps3seeker.com/Wii)(It's worth it, btw).

Verbatim 20 Pack DVD+R Double Layer Discs : $29.99 - I haven't been up on dvd recordable media in a while, but this seems really good for DVDR9's, and Verbatim no less. It's still about $2 a disc, but it's still better than I usually see. I'm just waiting for $1.00 to .50 cents a disc before I even consider DVD9's.
