Wiindows OS

If you haven't been lucky enough to buy a Wii of your own, you could always pretend, and I don't mean in the dorky wave-your-tv-remote around sort of way. The good folks over at Wiili.org have devised a neat program dubbed the Wii OS (but we prefer Wiindows OS) for emulating the Wii menu on your computer screen. And if you have bluetooth capabilities, you can even use a Wiimote with it, completing the experience. Check after the break to see it in action, complete with mumbly narration.

Strongbad to Induce Motion Sickness on the Wii

#Strongbad, #Homestarrunner, #Wiimote, #Wii, #Video Games, #Videlectrix

I'll admit it: I've lost touch with my old friend Strongbad. I don't watch the antics of him and his friends anymore. I don't read his emails... or, watch him read his own email, anymore. What used to be part of my daily routine is now done maybe ever six months. But I remember the times we had, most of them good, a lot of them trying to bounce a tire off of my mouse as many consecutive times as possible. Well, Videlectrix (The people that make games... with computers) has just released branch off called "Viidelectrix", wherein they have decided to touch up the old games to work with the Wiimote. Seems pretty cool to me. Anyone else going to rekindle a love affair with the masked luchador (or whatever he is)?

The Wii is of the Devil... sticks

This video shows just how awesome the Wii remotes can be. Virtual Devil Sticks are exactly what was sorely lacking in modern video games. Video is after the break.
